Out of the 10 books (and the prequel) I do have a favorite and this is a close, close second. It was great story, with lots of humor, suspense, mystery, and humor, suspense, tear jerking moments and don't forget humor. I love Donna because with all the drama, family and otherwise, she tries not to take things too seriously and see the good behind all the bad. Of course, the biggest good is Jack and he doesn't disappoint in this book either. The kids also get their moments with the normal (and abnormal) problems growing up and learning life lessons. It was a wonderful, wonderful addition to the series and I cannot wait for the next one.

I love the characters and how they interact as they (Donna and Jack) literally try to save the world. Josie Brown's books are fun, funny, and at times, poignant. This one had me laughing one moment and brought a tear to my eye the next. I don't know how Ms. Brown continues to keep the series fresh, but she does not disappoint. The book is humorous, dialogue terrific, and situations outrageous. Jack's timing and awkwardness throughout the book is adorable, will not say why, due to spoiler issues. This series continues to be one of my favorites.
