3 of 3 people found the following review helpful. Interesting Read By Amazon Customer ONE OF THE ULTIMATE WORKS IN MODERN LITERATURE!!!!!! Every page left me wanting more. I gave up my career as a college student in order to devote more time to the analysis of this book. Since reading this book, I have made most of my major life choices in light of the events that unfold within these pages. My girlfriend told me to put this book down just before I dropped out of school; that was the last day we every spoke. I knew that would happen, though. The book foretold of it. I am glad that I now see things from new perspectives. I occasionally give motivational speeches. I am always sure to pack a couple of copies of this book in my travel bags to hand out to those specific audience members that my speeches just could not reach. Thank you Mason Beasler. Thank you for allowing me experience how a true genius constructs a story.The only reason that I decided to rate this work-of-art 4 stars instead of 5 stars is due to the fact that the cover art is utterly terrible. I need something to stimulate the senses before picking up a book. Thankfully the title, "Double Colt" had me hooked from the moment I laid eyes on this paperback beauty.

Arguably a top 10 Novel of All Time By Amazon Customer After you read this book you will realize that "Double Colt" fits in the category that books like "The Odyssey", "To Kill a Mockingbird", "Rachael Ray's: 30 Minute Meals", and "The Lord of the Rings" have transcended into. Mason Beasler not only grabs your attention but he gets you addicted to every word in this book. Previously I had a regular high paying job at a multimillion dollar company. After baptizing my brain in "Double Colt" I knew that Cody, the main character, wanted me to quit my job and meditate/fast in the Texas desert a day for every page I read. By the end of my 90 day meditation/fast I know that like Cody, I can find all the answers I have been searching for. I have already found answers within this book for questions like "How do I understand a woman?" and "What is denim really made out of?" This book not only answers the questions of life but has helped me realize that I am nothing but a bullet in the chamber.However, I do have to say that the one flaw in this work of art is 'Tris''. I couldn't get over the fact that Mason Beasler possibly stole the name from the small book franchise "Divergent". If the name 'Tris' was changed to something like 'Bonquiqui' or 'Salmonella' the book could literally melt a man's brain from its perfection. But because of the mistake I have to give the work of art 3 stars.
