By Amazon Customer So I NEVER take the time to write reviews of books I have read, although I admit this is NOT the first ever.I am more attuned to books from the likes of Richard Marchenko when it comes to Spec Ops warfare and especially Delta Force. So when i picked up my Kindle I was prepared to be bored, distracted while reading, and not a fan. WOW! I was wwwwwwrong..... sometimes a little hard for me to admit! :-)Leslie Jones has managed to blend an action based novel with an interesting take on a romance! I did NOT expect that.I read the book in under twenty-four hours, and I have to say, the overall impression was:- excellent character development without excruciating detail (just enough to keep you interested)- outstanding action scenes that appear extremely well researched and true to form (I will leave that to a SPEC Ops reviewer)- story development was really well done. Not too fast paced or slap dash, but I could certainly understand the back story- timely with what is currently happening in the world and in the region described in the book especially- some really good supporting characters; some jerks, some not, but all make me want to read book two!Way to go Ms. Jones, your first (hopefully of many) novels should be a resounding success! Write on!

So I felt a little cautious starting out with this book. Boy, was I wrong!Night Hush grips you from the very first page. The suspense starts with the first paragraph and just never stops. I found it very hard to put down. The author has a great deal of information about Army Intelligence and Special Forces. She uses it in such a way that the action is totally credible. Occasionally I doubted a piece of logic but when I looked back the author was always right on target. The book ended with as much suspense as it had started with. In between there is also a romantic attachment that I enjoyed almost as much as the military scene.Amazon tells me there is going to be another book in the series fairly soon. I have already pre-ordered it.

By Sarah I absolutely loved this book, it has everything I was looking for in a Thriller!! And a sexy one at that!! (I love a little romance in my books!!) Their was some seriously great chemistry to keep me going!! It has ACTION, it has DELTA FORCE OPERATORS, it has A KICK ASS HEROINE! The book starts out with Heather the female lead trying to escape capture, and Jace the male lead out on a mission that puts him in position to aide her escape, I feel like since it's a thriller that if I say more it might get spoiler-y, but just know that I loved this book, it was a great debut and I am looking forward to reading more by this author.
