This covers the major topics but always refer back to the official mcat guide by the AAMC to match up what you need to study. This book does not cover all the details and you may have to google a few more things here and then but all in all it definitely helped!

By Amazon Customer I got a 512 on the Mcat and a 128 on the physical sciences section, and before I started studying, I had forgot all the organic chemistry I learned.This was the only organic chemistry book that I reviewed. Along with the section for organic chemistry in the Examcrackers books.And I was expecting there to be maybe a few questions on organic chemistry. But as we see on the study guide, it can go either way.And I have to say that this book saved me. It does not go over Organic chemistry in a ridiculous amount of detail. It is an overview that presents the most common trends. I would say it gave me the ability to guess very very well on questions rather than know all the ins and outs.I would recommend it 100%. Unless you are someone who needs to learn in great detail.
