I could tell by the blood that formed in pools around my body. My time on earth was coming to a close. So much blood. So much pain. So many regrets. So did I experience it? The flashing of life or the whiteness of heaven? Not in the way people have made it sound, but I did see it. It served the purpose of showing me where it all went wrong. It proved to me why I was alone and cold, dying on the bathroom floor. It reminded me that as humans, we make choices, good or bad, and we must live with the consequences. Hindsight. They say it’s twenty-twenty. That’s the truest statement I had ever heard. Everything about this book had me wanting to finish asap. Char has become a new favorite for me because of not only what she went through, but how she overcame it and started a new life. I really thought Tony might redeem himself but I think now it was best if he hadn't. Sean was another one of my favorites and at times I just wanted to hold him and tell him it would all work out (haha) The ending was a total shocker and I never saw that one coming. I love books like that. I thought I had it all figured out but I had no clue. I gave this book a 4 only because it was a little hard to keep track of what was happening. I liked how it was written and it kept going back in the past but I also found myself having to go back to the beginning of a chapter to check the dates. Other than that it was a very well written and thought out book and I hope we will see more of Char, Sean, and Tony!

I was asked to give an honest review and in exchange I got to read the ARC... I could never regret the day I said yes! This is the first book I have read by this author so I was unsure of what to expect. I read the description and figured I would be reading another sad story. I was so wrong! If you are reading this review, do NOT hesitate! Grab the book, find a place to hide from everyone and allow yourself to sink into the story. I have never read a book that took me through so many emotions. It didn't just take me through them, it grabbed a hold of me, shoved its hand right into me and ripped my whole heart out, then proceeded to play with it, sometimes with a feather, sometimes with a knife. In case you haven't figured it out, I loved this book! It was different, brilliant, and I just don't have enough stars! There are 3 characters that make this book what it is, Tony, Charlotte, and Sean. One I wanted to kidnap, one I wanted to hug, and one I wanted to kill. I refuse to give you any hints or clues! Just know that you will feel love, hate, sadness, joy, anger, fear, frustration, pain, and more. There were many moments that I almost threw my Kindle because of the intensity of the moment that I was sucked into. Would I read it again? Absolutely! Would I pay the price for it? Without a second thought! Will I recommend it to people I know? I honestly think that I will never stop. This is a story that will stay with me for the rest of my life...without a doubt! The only mistake? The one you regret not getting. Don't miss out on the opportunity!

By Nikki ~ Saint and Sinners Books~ ******4.5 STARS******I was very interested in reading this book the moment I read the blurb. I was not expecting a complete shocker and my emotions to be twisted from one end to the next. But that’s exactly what Leddy and Marlo did. They literally tear down your emotions just so they can build them right back up.This review is going to be a little hard to write because I HATE giving away spoilers. And believe me this book is packed full of surprises. From the moment I started this book I was completely sucked in. I wanted to know what was actually going on. But then it goes back to the past. That’s where we meet Char and Tony.At first I really liked Tony. He knew all the right things to say to Char and he was super sweet. But then after a few months everything changed so much. I literally wanted to punch Tony in the face through about 85% of the book. I don’t think I have ever hated a character so bad. There were parts in this book I cringed.Then there is Sean. I don’t want to give too away but I really LOVED Sean. He was such a good person and Char really needed someone like him in her life. Be prepared to be shocked several times throughout the book. The ending is definitely one I didn’t see coming. This is a very good book and make sure you get it.
