About the Author Keep it blue is life as I know it. Whether directly or indirectly, the events and emotions in this novel have often mirrored my own. I grew up along the Oregon Coast and currently live in Portland, Oregon. When I’m not writing, I am working as a fine artist and musician, as well as a mother of two wild boys and as the wife of Benjamin--to whom I've been dynamically and passionately married to for more than a decade. By the ripe age of thirty, I’ve survived three heart surgeries, homelessness, and an ongoing battle managing my level one bipolar disorder. I am the embodiment of a truth that is stranger than fiction, and I believe in hope, comfort, and perfect love for imperfect people.

We are not alone By Kristine Louise Reading these words were just like a conversation with a very close friend, the kind of friend you share your inner most thoughts and secrets with.So much truth and reality in a story that mirrors so many lives...the cloud lifts with the realization that we are not alone in this battle inside our hearts and minds. Beautifully and honestly written by an extraordinary woman, by exposing herself she created an invisible link that connects so many of us who believed we were alone with these similar thoughts and feelings...we are not alone.

By Amazon Customer Full of witty, humorous, and most importantly, relatable language and references.Touches and reflects upon the reality of bipolar disorder in a seamless way that doesn't separate the reader from the main character's experience.I found myself having to consciously take breaks to give myself time to recover emotionally as the Dean does wrap you up in a whirlwind of emotion.

I've read a lot of books, but never read a book with a story line quite like this. Do yourself a favor and read Keep It Blue. You wont regret it! I read it in just a couple of days and I already know I'll be reading it again! I great addition to my library! :)
