Was a good read :) By Abbey's 1-Click Book Blog When I first opened up Secrets I was expecting some hardcore Russian Mafia book, however I was pleasantly surprised that this was indeed not the fact, yeah you get some bad ass Russians but this is also a story of overcoming the past and embracing the new and unknown.Emily is a women with a past - a terrible, unforgettable, heartbreaking past which she is trying to move on from.. start afresh. Brand new college, brand new city and brand new friends, she just wants to focus on her school work and forget about Men. That seems possible to do until Luka 'Tate' Masterson struts on to the scene with all his Russian hotness!As their friends intertwine, Emily finds her self being drawn to Tate's protectiveness towards her and when she really is in danger - he shows her that will always protect her and keep her safe, but no matter how honest Emily might finally be about her past, Tate is still keeping secrets - secrets that might actually tear them apart in the end.Can Emily finally confront her past? And will she be able to accept that Tate is not exactly who she thought he was? Will they as a couple be able to overcome their secrets ?For a debut book, I think Sapphire done a good job - yeah there were some formatting issues, or a few things which could have been improved to help the book flow abit better - but the storyline most definitely comes out on top in my eyes.Congratulations on your debut release, I'm excited to read more of your work.

Unique, Stand Alone with a HEA By MLupher **Given in exchange for an honest review****Spoilers**The beginning starts out very evasive about what's going on with Emily, but I quickly forgot about that when Tate started showing up more often. I love how he tries to be patient and wait, but has a hard time not giving into temptation and how she tries to push him away but just can't bring herself to do it fully. An alpha vs a spitfire, both having their insecurities with each other, these two are a match made in heaven. When we finally find out about Emily's past, and when she finally tells Tate, he's ready to protect her with his life. Even though he hadn't said it, I saw this as his way of saying he loves Emily. If you're looking for an instant hookup, this isn't it. They fall into their relationship slowly, and I'd say it's a little over half way through before they do much more than kiss. My emotions were well played upon. I laughed, I was terrified, I fell in love with these characters, and I also wanted to help Tate take out the "Kop3uha."** I did think that Tate's proposal was a little fast, and he didn't technically ask, but I loved how he tried to make it her own and not overly lavish, there are too many of those out there. Also I have a hankering for ice cream now ;-)I loved this stand alone HEA!If you're still reading this, what are you waiting for?! Go one-click and read Secrets, now!
