By Kara Benz If you are looking for a great read, insightful tips, thought-provoking prompts, and plenty of space to write down your thoughts and plan out your year, then look no further. I was SO excited when this planner arrived in my mailbox. So much so that I cancelled all of my weekend plans and dove in right away. I was definitely not disappointed.I agree with the previous reviewer who said that this is way more than just another calendar and project planner. The year-end review is one of my favorite parts... helping you reflect on the past year and clear out unfinished business before tackling the year to come. The worksheets within are incredibly thought-provoking and you will soon find yourself spilling your heart and soul into the pages.Lisa is also keen to acknowledge that your business and personal lives are not always separate. You'll be encouraged to focus on 5 key areas in your life (financial, spiritual, physical, relational & mental), all while building a great business strategy for the year to come.The goal-setting system in this planner has completely changed the way I look at my goals and is one that I can actually stick to. The key to actually achieving your goals is constant review. Lisa provides regular prompts to review, analyze, and shift your goals as needed throughout the year, causing them to be front and center at all times. Add to that a habit tracker, stats trackers, actionable prompts, and a focus on accountability and you have yourself one amazing creative business planner.Bottom line: this workbook packs a serious punch and tremendous value. I would have gladly paid 3 times as much for the incredibly value that Lisa has provided in this gem. If you are a creative entrepreneur (or even if you're not there yet but are dreaming of making your business dreams a reality), then this is the planner for you!

By Sherri O I received my copy of Your Best Year 2016 a few weeks ago (free in exchange for an honest review). I had purchased and used the downloadable version of the 2015 edition, and was eager to see how this printed copy compared.PROS: It is a beautiful book to look at, inside and out. This 2016 edition has more information and exercises than last year's. There are so many insightful exercises for pinpointing your goals and priorities and creating a successful creative business. The book also includes monthly planner pages and monthly/quarterly/annual review pages. New this year is a focus on building successful habits and tips for staying on track, both valuable additions. I like that there is room in the book itself to complete the exercises and to plan.CONS: There are at least 6 different exercises where goals (intentions, priorities, projects, etc.) are determined and examined prior to setting your 2016 Annual Objectives. The exercises jump around from broad to specific, and it is unclear how they relate to each other. I would like to see these organized in some hierarchy and then explicitly tied to the annual objectives, quarterly progress logs, monthly to dos and habits, and weekly primary tasks of the planner pages.All-in-all, it is a valuable book full of insights. I recommend it to anyone trying to build their own creative business.

By Fiona McLeod This book is AMAZING... wish I had found it earlier in my life. I am working through it and day by day incorporating lessons and tips learned. If I could I would buy it for everyone I know. Of every age. So happy I found it and bought it. Plan to buy it for gifts as I am able ... it would be good even if not at the beginning of the year if you want to change your life for the better
