24 of 26 people found the following review helpful. A well written, exciting war story. By Allen MacDiarmid I am one of the author's proof readers and this is the best indie book I have yet read. Like the author, I was also a naval aviator and Naval Academy Graduate, although well before this book was written. I served in the military from 1950 to 1966, serving under, on and over the sea.This book feels right about the military. It is well written and an exciting read. I had to back up a few times in my proofing as I would get too absorbed in the story. I not only give this book 5 stars, I also give it a Bravo Zulu, which is navy flag signal for "Well done!"

Brilliantly written, true to life, and adds in that spark of romance that you need to lighten the tension.
