Another Win for Teel By Elle Ay Esse It's been a year since the fires nearly destroyed all of Los Angeles County and the President of the United States has places a bounty on the Iron Eagle's head and given him the title 'Terrorist'. FBI Agent John Swenson and LA County Sheriff Jim O'Brien know better. A plot of epic proportions is afoot and the mastermind behind it is not wearing a turban. The Iron Eagle must now race against the clock to prevent the assassination of the POTUS and the end of half our great country. And they’re going to need their friend Steve Hoffman, head of the behavioral science unit in Quantico, the help them see their plan come to fruition.Ok y'all. I know I have said before that The Iron Eagle series is one of the most intense I have ever read. I'm not really a conspiracy theory kind of gal but Teel writes in such a way makes me rethink my initial opinion.Although fictionalized, Teel also creates characters you can absolutely see in your mind and hear dialogue as though spoken to you. The Iron Eagle series is very "hands on" with the reader in that it's obvious Teel has done is homework for the plotlines as well as excellent character development.Sadly I cannot dive in as deep as I would like. Many of my readers have yet to start reading the first book and I'm not a spoiler kind of girl either. That makes it hard for me to review this book or the series as a whole.That said, I cannot praise The Iron Eagle series any more highly than I already have. Each book is a unique story in the saga of these three men and their wives. Each has a realistic and believable story arc that you fall in love with right away. Previously mentioned, the plots are thick with intrigue and just enough gore porn to make this a tasty treat late at night.My overall opinion on Operation Red Alert was one of high regard and applause. Although the series has a different plot in each book, I can’t stress enough that it should be read in order starting with Rise of the Iron Eagle.5/5 Stars and a standing ovation to Mr. Teel.

Willms Operation Red Alert by Roy TeelThe women are away. Jim and The Eagle are on the job. LA is in turmoil, and still recovering from the fires. The President's life is in danger and it's up to the Eagle to save America and mete out justice.The Eagle tears the mask off the government and politicians in all their conniving glory. Can the Eagle and his crew of supporters save America yet again? Or will evil prevail this time?Teel continues to deliver a well-rounded tale filled with tension, drama, and excitement. As with Teel's other books in this series, Book 4 isn't for the faint of heart. If you prefer your mysteries cozy, and free if blood and guts, this book isn't for you. Teel tells crime the way it really is. And crime gets dirty.While I loved this book as I've loved all of Teel's work, there a few very minor editorial glitches. Teel’s stories are truly astounding. If you haven’t begun reading this series yet, it’s time.I received a copy of this book from the author for review purposes. All opinions stated are my own.I rate this book 5 brilliant stars!!

With each one the dynamics of the working relationship involving John and Jim gets stronger and stronger. They are really getting their groove together. I see them both on equal levels. Yet, I like that despite all of the torture and gruesome murders that Jim still has a conscience. He is like the angel whereas John is the devil on your shoulder.Although I can not stop reading these books fast enough and have gotten used to the gruesome displays of murders and the strong language, I still can get shocked. For example, I did not know there were so many violent ways to dispose of someone. Also, while rape scenes are not new, the horrific scenes in this book of the rape was a little off putting. Yet, again still a good read.
