0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Phin stands on his own! By Casey Jenkins I bought this a long time ago and never read it because it wasn't a Jack Daniels story. But I enjoyed it! It was fun to read about Phin on his own doing his own thing, although he never struck me as the hit man type. I liked the rapport between Macklin and Phin. Although Phin was there to take out Macklin, they spoke the same language, they understood each other and they both had consciences which made for an interesting play between the two. Quick read and fun. I would definitely recommend this book.

After all it is Phineas....a fun read By Nolongerteaching Phineas Trout is a character from the Jack Daniels series that I have grown to like: Dying of cancer, addicted to drugs, a part time enforcer and criminal with morals make up his personality. Sent on a job to make a collection, he is soon involved with a down on his luck contract killer and a serial killer stalking a college campus. This short story left me wanting more of Phineas and possibly more of Macklin Dailey, Joshua Simcox's new character.
