Entertaining By Toni Osborne Book 3, in the Beatrix Rose Hong Kong StoriesThis is the final episode and another great story where Beatrix shows her talents as a ruthless individual and the deadliest ex-operative in the British government.This time Beatrix seemed overwhelmed and needs to shake off her opium habit while at the same time extract vengeance. The fast dirty action is somewhat unbelievable and totally over the top when Beatrix appeals to the leader of the triads “Dragon Head” in order to save Grace, the young Chinese girl she had once rescued. Grace was now being held prisoner for ransom by Wo Shun Wo, an underboss who had subsequently kidnapped her from her hotel room. Beatrix needs all the help she can get even if she has to sell her soul to the devil.Although short, this is another great adventure that pulls you in from the start, excellent characterization and simple narration. . Taking the triads head on by a kick-ass female protagonist can only be entertaining…and it is definitely. This series is a good diversion and is quite captivating. Again take the time and read all three books in a row, together they make a decent novel to enjoy.
0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. A very captivating character is Beatrix Rose. By judy I have now completed all the Beatrix Rose books. Whew! Talk about fast paced. I was reading the John Milton series and came upon Beatrix rose in the book Ghost. Well---I had to get the boxed set and then the trilogy. This series was so engrossing. They way Mark writes, you can put yourself right there as if you're seeing it all, so descriptive. When her husband was killed and daughter taken away we have come almost full circle. I will not spoil any of the outcomes. You just have to read all of them. So the history of Beatrix Rose is now at rest for me. But I have a feeling Mark isn't finished yet!!!!

However, my recommendation is to buy the boxed set which is only 99 cents as of this writing. I am on the advance team, so I initially read them separately, but I then bought the set and read them again, back to back. The excitement is non-stop and the twists and turns will keep you on the edge of your seat. This set of three will fill in the blanks about Beatrix Rose's time in Hong Kong, and it will then have you craving more. Please see my review on the boxed set for more information. I know you will love this set!
