Chris' real life law enforcement history, sense of humor, and imagination are used effectively again in this installment I can't wait for the third one. I do very little reading these days, but this series is one that I get ASAP and read ASAP. There is much good about it, but I am going to put a few things I would like improvements on (which will be nitpicky)1. He had so many things going on and so many details, that the ending seemed a little anticlimactic after the big stuff was cleared up, but I do love seeing those little details put in there to see what happens to some of the other characters. Perhaps it could have been done a little more quickly though so the book doesn't lose a little steam. But, that also could have been me trying to finish it during my plowing session. :D2. This might also be me, but one thing that would help me (who is admittedly bad at learning names at times) and that most books do not do, is a section at the beginning or end that gives a little info on each character (so that I can refer to it to keep some of them straight as far as who is who).3. I wish they would release the print version much quicker after the ebook release (although I understand, I think, why they don't.)With those said, this is a great series, one of the few books I read anymore, and well worth it I have enjoyed both and look forward to more. The things above are perhaps quibbles and only suggestions to make the book even more enjoyable (at least to me). Even as it is, the book (and series) are fun and suspenseful. I wish we had them come out of more often (but keep the quality), but that is me. I fully understand that writing takes time and there are channels to go through to make it what it is.. I have mentioned this series to friends and hope many here discover both books. Although you can read this without having read the first one, I suggest you start there and then get this one.
3 of 3 people found the following review helpful. A delightful read! By musicmike C.A. Griffith has written an action packed book that interweaves the message of the dangers of drugs. The message is not preachy, but it made me rethink the direction I was heading on the issue of drug legalization. The author is a gifted writer who has personal knowledge of the subject matter he describes. You will not be disappointed if you buy this book and read it.
1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Love this book!! By Linda Swafford I really had a hard time putting this down at times, it is very informative. I didn't realize how bad the drug problem really is. Hopefully this will make people more aware of how this can effect all of us.
