The characters all have their own individual issues to work through and when they work together, they are stronger for it. The premise of a sniper targeting women abusers is a smart turn for the author to take...abuse touches many people. You almost catch yourself rooting for the guy. The story takes another twist and the author takes you into places that make you think about what is really going on. The romance is woven in subtly then gives you a big "wham!" What a great book! I'm looking forward to more from this author.

It was well written, filled with interesting, developed characters, and gave us a H and h that we could truly like. The H was an alpha male that was not afraid to see his shortcomings and want to be a better man. The h had overcome a tragedy and was making the best of her life with a supportive family. The mystery plot was surprisingly woven throughout the book, leaving the reader wondering how the story was going to end.

The plot was full of action and breathtaking suspense. The h/h were not picture perfect- they have flaws and traumatic pasts. They do however, have super hot chemistry, interesting supporting characters, and a common goal in catching a sniper who seems to be targeting abusers of women. The characters in this book change and grow throughout the events of the story and I couldn't help but root for these great people who were trying to fight he hold that their pasts had on them. I truly enjoyed this book and will look for others by this author.
