By iiiireader [[VIDEOID:78883f653faee0df535cd82d10d3f817]]I've long been a fan of Tula Pink for Free Spirit fabrics for my quilting and other sewing projects. I was thrilled to hear that a coloring book was going to be released that showcased the wonderful patterns I have come to love in my fabrics. The book is wonderful for those who know her work and for those who just simply love to color.The designs show many of her signature artwork including a variety of scenes from nature, animal prints (including a deer with gorgeous antlers), paisleys, birds and hummingbirds, an owl and even an octopus. There simply is not a design in the book that I will not want to color.There are more than 75 designs on white paper that is perforated for easy removal. The designs are printed on one side of the page which means that even though all of my markers leaked through, all I have to do is put a sheet or two of heavy weight paper under the page I am working on. That way, the ink won't bleed through and ruin the design below. Some, but not all, of my gel pens leaked the slightest amount of ink through to the back of the sheet.I am thrilled with this book and hope that it signals the beginning of other such wonderful fabric artists providing their designs to those of us who love adult coloring books.

High Quality, VERY Detailed By Steph M If you're a quilter or sewist you're probably familiar with Tula Pink's fabric lines - they're absolutely gorgeous and certainly highly collectible and sought after! Her coloring book is no different - each page appears to be a print from her fabric lines, so you can color in her familiar owls and birds. The book is very high quality - thus far I've started coloring with my set of Pentel markers and have not experienced much bleed-through to the back of the pages - but I still keep a few sheets of printer paper in between pages just to be on the safe side! It's also very nice to have the pages be perforated, perfect for sharing or decorating (maybe even framing!) after you've completed them.That said, these designs are VERY detailed. There are quite a few pages where I cannot use my markers and will have to switch to colored pencils. If you Google image search "tula pink fabric birds," for example, you will see how detailed her fabric lines are, and this is how detailed the pages in the book can be. Not a problem, just something to keep in mind, especially if you're just looking for a coloring book to help you relax!Overall a very nice book, great quality and I'm sure I will enjoy completing it!

High quality printing and designs, with perforated edges. I can highly recommend this book.
