His wide collection of novels represent a complex mind and a vivid imagination. His favorite genre is the classic mystery game and he does it like a master. Cozy or light and sophisticated, he can chose his moods with high skill. My favorite is his historical fiction Jigsaw Island, not a mystery at all, just a wonderful step back in time. But his mysteries stand up against the biggest names in the business. I especially love his series on the Big Boys Detective Agency! Vivid and colorful, vibrant and alive.

The story line is fast paced, at times too fast, but overall enjoyable. I highly recommend this series to anyone looking for a historical detective series with gay characters.

Jeremy is very sympatico and his approach to life and love is expansive. This character and his like minded friends and family always make for an enjoyable read. As per usual Jeremy dispatches several mysteries with help from his friends and associates/employees. This novel takes him further afield to war time Germany.
