Collins Jane Bolitho understands the cornish people and gives the user a taste of what life is like living in the small towns of Cornwall. Her characters are both charming and complex. Although her books are easy to read, it's not so easy figuring out how her stories finally unfold.

Bolitho also captures the atmosphere of Cornwall. I gave it four stars because it doesn't quite measure up to the greats like P. D. James, but I plan on reading the rest of the series.
