She was so sweet and innocent, until her father stole that from her!This book is for anyone who wants to be informed about the horrors and terrible suffering of the victims of sexual child abuse. Jesse's courage should be applauded as she was able to finally "tell" a school counselor. Whatever program that was presented in the school auditorium that day- should also be applauded! Because it was that presentation that helped her see IT WAS NOT HER FAULT!! The emotional scars inflicted on these children is immeasurable. I loved how the ended. I'd like to thank the author for sharing her story.

Very realistic and painful experience for anyone to be violated in a sexual way. I hope this helps other teens come out and gain freedom from the secrets.
1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Jesse ~ A beautiful young woman who was so brave By 4posies I normally don't write book reviews, however I felt the need with this book. Jesse has such a kind and sweet spirit. She was the victim of a child predator who nearly destroyed her. She lived her young life in constant fear and turmoil.I now better understand why abuse victims "don't tell". When they are told repeatedly that nobody will believe them, of course they are silenced.It broke my heart that this sweet young woman had to endure sexual abuse from her father for years. She was so brave for breaking her silence. I love the ending and I pray that Jesse gets counseling and can live a good life from here on out.This was a quick read but had enough details for the reader to understand what was really going on. I recommend this five-star read. It is definitely worth your time.
